After the breakup of Banda Macho, singer Luis Antonio Díaz formed Sol Banda in the late 1970s with several former band members. The group specialised in Spanish-language versions of international pop, soul, and disco hits, releasing several albums before disappearing again in the early 1980s.

«Another Star» was released in 1976 on Stevie Wonder’s masterpiece Songs in the Key of Life. Nearly 50 years later, the album is back in the spotlight, with Wonder announcing that four previously unreleased songs from those sessions will be included on his upcoming album Through the Eyes of Wonder.

Back to Mexico and Sol Banda. They transform «Another Star» into a fantastic Latin disco soul version with Spanish vocals. The song is full of groove and energy and works just as well on the dancefloor as the original.
