Sergio's Band was a show band performing on a cruise ship in the early 1980s, entertaining guests with the latest dance and disco hits. On their only album, they interpret a number of late 70s disco classics, including the Village People anthem «Macho Man».

«Macho Man» was released in 1978 and became one of the Village People's first major hits. With its driving groove and instantly recognisable chorus, the song quickly established itself as a disco classic.

The highlight of this cover version is the massive drum intro and the powerful drum breaks throughout the track. They hit hard. The chorus, on the other hand, is honestly pretty awful.
