Gene Lawrence, born in St. Vincent and based in Trinidad, released a beautiful cover of the Eugene McDaniels classic Feel Like Makin’ Love on his 1977 debut album Sunset to Sunrise. It’s a version filled with Caribbean warmth, breezy lightness and the feeling of a gentle seaside wind.
