Denial transformed the sun-soaked ’60s classic by The Mamas & The Papas into something completely new: cool, stripped-down, hypnotic. Gone is the West Coast vibe – in its place, a wonderfully dark wave of New Wave melancholy from the Southern Hemisphere.
